As a delivery driver your earnings are the product of two things:

We have seen that average order fees have been falling in real terms since 2021.

But what about the number of orders that each driver does?

We ran the numbers on Uber Eats, Just Eat and Stuart and found some interesting results…

On average, drivers are doing fewer orders each day when they are working across all of the platforms.

Stuart saw the biggest decrease, at -50%.

We also looked at the number of days each month that drivers are active for on average and this is also going down.

So… drivers are working fewer days, doing fewer orders on each day and earning less per order on all of these platforms.
